The legendary Catalina Casino has been an iconic figure of Catalina Island's Avalon Bay, built by William Wrigley, Jr. on May 29, 1929.
Dominating the Avalon City landscape, the casino is perched at the bottom of the bluff snugged and nestled upon the city's harbor.
The 12 story-tall building includes the Avalon Theatre on the main floor, and a ballroom and promenade on the upper floor. The 20,000 square foot ballroom can accommodate nearly 1,500 entertainers and is the worldâs largest circular ballroom without supporting pillars.
Â
The Casino hosts many of Catalina Islands major events, including the annual New Yearâs Eve Celebration, Catalina Film Festival, and the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival. You can also book reservations for evening gala's and weddings!
